CREATOR CONTINUITY GUIDE
What to do if your Instagram account is banned, disabled or inaccessible.
Losing access is stressful. Start by protecting your evidence, your audience routes and the work you still control.
1. Work through Instagram’s official review route.
Use the instructions shown in the app or login screen. Keep screenshots of notices, case references and the account details you used. Do not pay third parties who promise guaranteed reinstatement.
2. Tell your audience where to find you.
If you can still communicate elsewhere, use one consistent message and one stable link. Your website, email list and a public creator home can give people a route back to you while the appeal is in progress.
3. Save what you still have access to.
Keep copies of original photos, videos, captions, shop information and contact records. The easiest backup is the one you made before an emergency.
4. Reduce single-platform dependence.
Social accounts are valuable distribution channels, but they are not your entire business. Give followers a place to find your work without needing the same app or algorithm.
